16-year-old students Melinda Patino, Samantha Dixon, Elena Sanchez and Alejandra Vega started Planting Prosperity, Inc., a nonprofit that works with inner city neighborhoods to plant trees.
Their idea won them a $250 reward for "most civic minded."
