Power center The 2009 Cadillac CTS-V's power comes from a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that's very similar to the one in the the 2009 Corvette ZR1. In the CTS-V, the engine produces a maximum 550 horsepower and 550 foot-pounds of torque. New, lighter supercharger technology helps to reduce noises usually associated with supercharged engines, GM boasts.
