For the 2008 model year, Mini is introducing its first all-new model to the United States. The Clubman is longer than the well-known Cooper, giving it more front and backseat legroom and storage space. It has an additional set of rear-opening doors to make back seat access easier.Surprisingly, the extra length and weight (177 pounds) does nothing to hamper the Clubman's fuel economy. It's estimated to get the same 28 mpg city, 37 mpg highway as the smaller Mini Cooper.
