All aboard! Top 10 family rides

Vehicle valuation expert Kelley Blue Book gives CNNMoney.com a first look at its picks for the best new family vehicles.

Kelley Blue Book picked the CX-9 for its surprising performance. Like the Honda Odyssey, the CX9 is a vehicle with ride and handling that seems almost impossible in a vehicle of this type. This is a three-row crossover SUV, and it even has a reasonably roomy back seat.

But its aggressively curved body doesn't lie. With its powerful V6 engine and taut handling, the CX9 charges around turns with more genuine feeling and spirit than most ground-hugging cars.
