Hyundai Veracruz

The Veracruz is Hyundai's latest attempt to show that it can be much more than a Korean economy-class carmaker. But even with its sub-$30,000 price tag, the Veracruz almost passes itself off as a luxury SUV with room enough for the kids.

The interior looks rich and is well-appointed. The ride is smooth and quiet. To top it off, Hyundai still has the best warranty around, covering everything, nose to tail, for 10 years or 100,000 miles, notes Kelley Blue Book.
