Interior quality has always been a Toyota strong point, and the Sequoia is no exception. The interior looks and feels as if it was created as a single hunk, ready to withstand any attempt to take it apart. Nothing shakes, nothing wobbles, nothing squeaks.

There's also surprising utility throughout. The huge two-layered center console features rails for hanging files and a hanging bin for small items. There are two glove compartments. (That's become fairly common, these days, though.)

In back, you can get another huge two-layer center bin and cupholders big enough to hold a magnum bottle of wine.

The one thing that detracts from all this extra-roomy excellence is that some of the controls are simply too far away from the driver's seat. Tuning the radio, for instance, requires leaning way forward and to the right to reach the tiny knob.
