Chrysler has gone DVD players one better. Some of the company's larger family vehicles have something called Sirius Backseat TV.

These vehicles can pick up Sirius satellite TV stations. For now, just three channels are offered, but more are promised soon. All three channels are, understandably, aimed at kids - older kids, to be exact. All this comes through the same satellite feed that carries Sirius satellite radio.

In the minivans, you can even get two independent screens. Kids in the second row can watch Sirius TV while the kids in the way-back watch a DVD or play video games.

This beats the heck out of "License plate bingo."
