Hummer H3
MSRP: $35,155
Edmunds.com TMV: $32,863
Cash rebate: $5,000
Final cost: $27,863
Discount: 21%
EPA overall MPG: 15

At about the size of a Nissan Pathfinder or Toyota 4Runnner, the H3 is Hummer's smallest offering. But this 5-cylinder SUV still has the fuel economy of a larger vehicle.

It also has the Hummer name and look which, even if the fuel economy were better, make it a rolling symbol of the un-green. That's not a very popular fashion statement these days.

The H3 has the biggest incentives, by far, of any General Motors SUV. By and large, GM SUVs are still selling for close to their full sticker prices thanks to production cutbacks and - in some cases - improved quality and design.
