Cadillac unveils its first wagon

GM hopes its new luxury sports wagon will appeal to U.S. buyers, and also unveils a new crossover SUV.

General Motors will reveal the 2010 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon at the Pebble Beach Concours D'elegance car show Friday. This will be the first factory-produced Cadillac station wagon the company has ever sold in North America.

The car is based on the highly successful Cadillac CTS sedan. That car was redesigned for the 2008 model year and has been a critical and sales success, having been named Motor Trend's Car of the Year.
