Chevrolet Equinox
Schedule: On target for late 2009
Compact crossovers are a hot segment with a lot of new products, and GM's entries- the Equinox and the closely related Pontiac Torrent - are starting to look rather old.
A new version should be coming out later in 2009. At that point, the Pontiac Torrent will vanish from GM's line-up, replaced by the GMC Terrain. Like the Torrent, the Terrain will be sold at combined Pontiac-Buick-GMC dealerships.
This one is still on schedule, GM says, and will likely launch on time.
