The new Dodge Ram is proof that, if Chrysler LLC can get its finances in order - and that's a major "if" - this company can build a solid product. The 2009 Ram has an interior that's as good looking as its aggressive exterior. With coil springs instead of the more usual leaf springs under the bed, it also offers a fairly precise feel behind the wheel instead of the fat-man-on-rollerskates experience you get in most big trucks.
In these desperate times, Chrysler is already dropping sizable piles of rebate cash into these trucks. If you're in the market, this one's worth a serious look.
