The 787 offers 20% better fuel efficiency, a projected 30% savings in maintenance, and jumbo-jet sized range in a mid-size package. Airlines love it, you can see that in the faces of these All Nippon Airways executives. The Japan-based airline was the first to buy into the Dreamliner, ordering a record-breaking 50 planes. Overall 892 planes have been ordered so far.
