If you're looking for a Blu-ray player that won't blow your holiday shopping budget, this one from Samsung should fit the bill. No, it isn't the most feature-packed Blu-ray device on the market, but it does a decent job of playing high-definition (and regular) DVDs. It also looks good -- a sleek, minimalist box with a glossy black finish. Of course, if you're willing to hold out a while longer, analysts say Blu-ray prices will only go down.
