Globecomm Systems (GCOM)
Wireless satellite communications company Globecomm Systems (No. 67) is a top tech pick of Michael Corbett, portfolio manager of the five-star Perritt Micro Cap Opportunities fund. With many mid-sized firms and government organizations as customers, Globecomm is enjoying a business boom: "Their backlog is at a record high and they are bringing in a ton of new business," Corbett says.

The stock is still a great buy at today's levels, he believes, trading at about $10 a share, or about 10 times cash flow. As a nice cushion, the company boasts cash reserves of $2.50 per share.
