Life expectancy at birth: 79.68 years This fast-growing Austin metro area county ("Wilco" to the locals) is home to the city of Round Rock, which calls itself "The Sports Capital of Texas." And in Texas, that's really saying something. They're not talking about the major leagues, though: The boast refers to amateur and recreational sports for all ages.
Of course, Williamson is also convenient to Austin; the Texas capital is one of the nation's best cities for live music, and there's plenty of happy spillover into Williamson County, where you'll find a wealth of music venues and teachers.
