My boyfriend, Travis, and I will be using our rebate checks to help pay off some of our upcoming wedding expenses. We are getting married in a couple of months, and although this will not by far pay for the entire event, it will at least put a dent in it.

So I guess we're not doing our part to stimulate the economy by splurging on some big-ticket item at a retail outlet, but I am thankful for the extra cash nonetheless.
