Rebate checks: How to spend 'em

My husband and I added to our family last year, so now with three growing girls and a son, we will divide our rebate between a contribution to our church, savings for the coming Christmas season and a much-needed family vacation.

There are many other areas we could use this money, but these are the three main areas we have chosen. We both work outside the home and it sometimes seems that we can never put aside money to take our children on a family vacation that will make a lasting memory for them.

With the monthly expenses we have (groceries for a family of six, two car loans, daycare, and oh yes, GAS), this stimulus rebate is very much needed and appreciated.
