Ease of use: Bulky to hold but has easy button access. Tape was frustrating: lots of rewind and fast-forward required for viewing.

Video quality: Images were clear, but Leak complained that colors didn't "pop" enough.

The big picture: Visuals were fine but less impressive than JVC's and Sony's. Plus, the tape was annoying. Canon has a 1,080 flash model, but its picture quality is comparable, the company says.
