Vermont Smoke & Cure's Pepperoni Bites
Vermont Smoke and Cure's bite-size pepperoni pieces are slowly smoked over corncobs and maple wood shavings.The Barre, Vt., company started life as the smokehouse of a nearby restaurant. Having launched its own line of products, it now sells its meats in specialty-food shops. Smoke and Cure sources some of its beef, turkey and pork from within the state, and offers its smoking services to local farmers.
