Lincoln MKT
Lincoln MKT
The MKT is built on the same basic engineering as the Ford Flex crossover SUV, which narrowly missed being voted Car of the Year at this year's auto show. Next time, maybe Ford can make it with the Lincoln version.

It drives into showrooms this summer as a larger cousin to the MKX crossover. Like the Flex, it will have three rows of seats. Fuel economy is estimated at 24 miles per gallon on the highway which is impressive for a vehicle this size.

The MKT will be available with Ford's new EcoBoost twin-turbochareged V6 engine that Ford says will offer the performance of a larger V8 engine.
