Highlights: Located in a western suburb of Chicago, Beacon Hill is more affordable than many CCRCs, but not at the cost of comfort or care. It still gets five stars from Medicare. Plus, there's a pool, fitness center, greenhouse and arts and crafts studio. For those who'd rather hang out at home, residents can customize their apartments with fresh paint and carpeting at no additional cost. Beacon Hill also organizes frequent daytrips to Chicago for museums and musicals.
