Won't receive one: Income above $150,000
Name: Rob MacKay, 37
Location: San Francisco, Calif.
Profession: Software engineer

His story: "I wonder what other people will do with their tax credit, as my wife and I will not see a single penny of it.

Why? We're considered to be in too high of an income bracket since we make more than the $150,000 cap. However, we live in the San Francisco Bay Area, where a couple making a combined $250,000 a year is considered just upper-middle class.

It's unfortunate because we are people who would put the money back into the American economy, rather than and not spend it on goods made in China like so many others willl do. We would put the funds to work by supporting local contractors and businesses, not rushing out to Wal-Mart or Target to take advantage of the latest sale items fresh off the boat from overseas factories.

Americans fortunate enough to receive a government stimulus check should carefully consider what they will do with the funds and ensure that they are stimulating the correct economy." - as told to Julianne Pepitone
