Still looking for a job

Current status: Unemployed
I worked on Wall Street for almost 7 years and was laid off as part of the economic downturn. I moved from New York to Boston because I couldn't afford to pay rent but I'm still looking for a job in New York. I moved in with my brother so I can save money on rent and Internet. I don't even have insurance right now. I stopped looking for a temp job -- I'm claiming unemployment so I really can't do odd jobs unless it's under the table.
I'm not going to let the economy make me shift to something I'm not really passionate about. I'm interviewing quite a bit, just last week I interviewed with JPMorgan Chase. But, there's a lot of competition. Until the competition dies down, it's going to be a challenge to land a good job.
