"I've been in communications for six years. With the economy the way it is -- and I'm getting married in May -- it just seemed that I needed a little something extra to put me over the top. Money is understandably tight.
I'm not out of a job by any means, but I picked up a weekend gig at a local ski shop here for the winter season. There's a particular shop I used to go into all the time. I went in there and asked the guy if he ever needed help. Now, I usually work on either Saturday or Sunday selling ski supplies, about 15-20 hours a week. Every little bit helps. It is money that I now have that I am able to replenish savings and pay bills. "
