Miami: West Palm Beach
Located about an hour and a half north of Miami is West Palm Beach, a city of more than 100,000 with beaches to the north and south. But the scenery hasn't helped sell this courtyard-style house at the Ibis Golf and Country Club, which boasts a pool view from nearly every room.
It was first listed in November for $669,000, then reduced to $599,000 in April. Prices in Palm Beach County fell 25% in the past year to a median price of $234,000, according to the Florida Association of Realtors, while sales ticked up by 3%.
