Las Vegas: Sun City Anthem
There's still plenty of value in Las Vegas's luxury retirement communities. Prices are down 27% from the last year in some parts of retirement haven Summerlin. And they've dropped 20% in Sun City Anthem, where this three-bedroom on the Revere Golf Club was lowered from $699,000 in May.
"Among the wealthier baby boomers, many will be heading to Las Vegas," says National Association of Realtors chief economist Lawrence Yun. "So for people with a long-term horizon, these are very good markets to enter given that prices are knocked down."
