Catch the beat
Finish off the evening at Zizek Urban Beats Club, a DJ-and-live-music party that moves from club to club around the city. Cheekily named after Slavoj Zizek, a Slovenian philosopher-raconteur (who achieved notoriety here by marrying a well-known Argentine model), Zizek is the brainchild of Texas DJ and promoter Grant Dull, 33. While Dull plays a range of danceable music, he loves to showcase electronic cumbia -- a mix of Latin American folk music and club beats that's popular in Buenos Aires these days.
