For a Kansas-born designer of luxury furniture, there's no place like home.
Chuck Comeau launched his luxury furniture company, Dessin Fournir, in L.A. But he grew frustrated by the city's overhead costs and frequent employee turnover. Less than a year later, he whisked the headquarters of his fledgling company back to his hometown: Plainville, Kan.
