Let it burn
June saw two major fires at the Packard Plant. Firefighters are under standing orders not to enter the plant's buildings -- they're too structurally unsound. The first fire was left overnight to burn itself out. "We never go in at night," a local firefighter told the Detroit Free Press. "It's just not safe."
