1989-91 Ford Taurus SHO
1989-91 Ford Taurus SHO
Current Value: $3,400

Intended to compete credibly against European performance sedans, the Taurus SHO -- fans pronounce it "Show" -- was powered by 220-horsepower V6 developed by Yamaha. Capable of 6.6 second zero-to-60 times, the old SHO was more of a true performance car than today's Taurus SHO which, while an excellent automobile, falls more into the strong-but-sedate category.

There are few remaining examples of the original Taurus SHO, said Hagerty, so finding one will require a bit of luck.
