Senior vice president, integrated marketing and communications, Coca-Cola
Age: 39

Industry: Consumer products

Two years into the job (she reports to Coke CMO Joe Tripodi), Clark orchestrated Coca-Cola's sponsorship of the 2010 Winter Olympics and the FIFA World Cup. The latter was Coke's biggest integrated marketing campaign ever, spanning 160 countries and a budget in the hundreds of millions. Meanwhile, she continues to oversee messaging for 500 brands in 200 countries and is gearing up for the next big event: the 2012 London Olympics.

Comfort clothes: Clark travels for business in jeans and flip-flops. "Really, who wants to travel in a suit?"
