The LeakAlertor is a designed to save water by calling attention to leaky toilets.

Leaking toilets are the number one cause of high water bills, according to Nth Solutions, which makes the device. A leaking toilet wastes 100 gallons of water per day, which can cost consumers hundreds of dollars a year, the company says.

The LeakAlertor mounts on the outside of the toilet and measures the water level inside the tank sonically. If a toilet starts to leak, the device starts beeping and a red light flashes. It costs $19.95.
