Cuisinart wasn't an official sponsor of the film, but it landed a role anyway.

The company sent a variety of appliances over to the movie's prop masters, and one of its coffee makers made it into scenes in both Carrie and Miranda's kitchens. That same process also landed Cuisinart products spots in the TV show and the first movie.

In fact, the company regularly tries to get its coffee makers, toasters, blenders and food processors into other movies and TV shows, and contracts with an outside product placement firm to do so.
