Samantha Jones hopped into a Mercedes-Benz SUV after a Rodeo Drive shopping spree in the first movie. In the sequel, Carrie and "Mr. Big" take a weekend drive in the new 2011 E-Class Cabriolet, which doesn't go on sale until June.

During the entire film, characters will be seen driving around in four different types of Mercedes.

Mercedes secured their cars' role by providing vehicles for both the first and second films, and by supporting the sequel with a huge marketing campaign including print ads and TV commercials that feature their cars and scenes from the film, as well as a SATC2 Facebook contest that gives away a trip for four to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York in September.
