"This toy came out of nowhere and it's [selling] out in stores. It's small, inexpensive and very collectible," he said.
Squinkies is a small doll toy that comes packed in a ball. When kids open the ball, they'll find a Squinkies surprise inside.
These are reminiscent of the toy machines you see in the grocery stores where the toy comes packaged in a plastic ball, said Silver.
Squinkies are squishy to the touch. The Squinkies characters include babies, kittens, puppies and frogs. Squinkies also double as pencil toppers and come with playsets in the shape of dispensers.
