With stiffer fuel economy regulations looming, Ford introduces a Mustang Boss 302 with a four-cylinder EcoBoost engine. GM counters by bolting a Volt powertrain into the 2013 Corvette, and Toyota expands its Prius lineup to include SUVs, CUVs, and pickups. Land Rover dealers experience a rush of orders before sales of the two-ton Range Rover, which gets 13 miles to a gallon, are permanently banned.
