Burke Wallace has a 10-minute-a-day strategy for serious saving.
Name: Burke Wallace
Age: 30
Occupation: Teacher
Hometown: Sacramento, Calif.

This California teacher doesn't consider himself extreme, but friends and family know he's serious about finding deals.

His 10-minute-a-day strategy is to search online for coupons before he goes out to eat or shop, using sites like restaurant.com and slickdeals.net. Plus, he "likes" favorite companies on Facebook to see if they are offering deals, and becomes a club member at stores where he shops often to get discounts and rebates.

"Part of my trick is only using coupons on things I already plan on buying," says Wallace. "Some weeks that means lots of applicable coupons. Other weeks just a few."
