'How the economy changed us'

We eat out less often as a family, and when we do, we often share meals. We changed from going out to the movies once a week to once a month, and only during matinee times.

We go on fewer out-of-town day trips on weekends and spend more time together at home. We take turns cooking family meals, and we have homemade pizza on movies-at-home night once a week. We've cut back on a lot but have gained more in quality time spent together as a family.-- Robert Hailes
