Guernsey's auction house in New York City is putting a vintage trove of rock 'n' roll memorabilia on the block on Sept. 24 and 25.
The center piece is Elvis Presley's first guitar, a battered, taped-up acoustic with only four strings. Other items include numerous photos of the Beatles on the brink of stardom. Another gem? John Lennon's last car.
If people are tightening their purse strings, these 10 businesses wouldn't know. Their bestsellers are expenisve but still have plenty of buyers.
