We know, we know, Yahoo is more often mocked today than it is praised. But despite its recent struggle in the U.S. to stack up against rival Google, Yahoo continues to thrive overseas, and particularly in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region, where 38-year-old Riley grew the search giant's net revenue nearly 13% from 2010 to 2011. He's also the only person under 40 on Yahoo's Executive Leadership Council, which has taken on a major role in running the company under interim CEO Tim Morse, ever since Carol Bartz was shown the door.
