Dinnerware
Dinnerware

Labor Day not only marks the end of summer, but also the end of peak wedding season -- and this one was an especially eventful one. At this point, most of the brides- and grooms-to-be have already claimed the china they want on their registries and stores are trying to unload their remaining stock to make room for next year's patterns. So for those in need of plates, platters and bowls, now's the time to buy.

Best bet: Jeanette Pavini, a savings expert with Coupons.com, suggests stocking up at Cost Plus, where all dinnerware and flatware collections are 20% off.
