Polenta chips
Polenta chips

The weirdest gift I received this year was a box of polenta chips from my mom. I've been vegan for about nine months and one of the things I've been trying to do is cut back on gluten.

I have a huge potato chip craving but I've been noticing that a lot of them have lactose so my mom did some research and found that polenta is gluten-free and vegan.

The box of chips was wrapped with Christmas paper with a big ribbon. I got a good laugh and the chips tasted pretty good so it worked out.

What not to buy before Christmas

From cashmere to comforters, the discounts may seem good now, but just wait until the holidays are over.
