The Ross EMBA emphasizes the development of personal leadership styles and goals. Students hone the skills required of top executives: working with boards, the media, and investors, as well as managing teams and relationships.
The centerpiece of the school's curriculum requires students to spend four months between their first and second years in the program consulting with an organization. Students select from a slate of scenarios that cover everything from supply chain and market entry issues to entrepreneurial startups.
Classes meet on campus once a month for 20 months. On-campus classes run Friday morning through Saturday afternoon. There are also two 10-day residencies at the start of each academic year.
