Trump opened this course nearly 10 years ago in a bucolic suburb about 30 miles from midtown Manhattan. The fairways here are lush and the many mature trees help define the play.

There are five sets of tees to play from, so the course is welcoming for novice golfers as well as challenging for experts. It has the highest "slope rating," in the New York metropolitan area. That's a gauge of how hard a course plays for regular, not expert, golfers

Mr. Trump also plays at his clubs in Bedminster, N.J., West Palm Beach, Fla., and Los Angeles. "They're all fantastic," he said.
