Why copy Groupon altogether when you can do it one better? The Seattle-based startup from Martin Tobias launched last year and works two-fold, with a group buying service that actually ups or "accelerates" the discount the more people join the deal, and by also offering a white-label platform with software tools and support so companies can create their own buying group-buying deals. Which is why Tippr acquired the Chicago deals-oriented site Chitown Deals, and FanForce, which provided the tech for the white-label business arm.
