Manhattan is a dense data network. "People are more likely to photograph scenic views and more likely to tweet from commercial districts," Fisher commented on an earlier Twitter/Flickr visualization. "But there is plenty of crossover too."

Central Park and the harbor area around the Statue of Liberty are the city's photographic hot zones. An orange cluster of photos in the southeast marks Brooklyn's Prospect Park, and to the north of Manhattan, a bright white cluster in the Bronx highlights the photos-and-tweets hotspot of Yankee Stadium.
