If you've paid attention to the shelves behind your pharmacy counter recently, you may have noticed something odd among the extra-strength cold syrup and cheap earbuds. Inexpensive tablets -- sometimes with unreal sounding names -- have proliferated. They're fighting to pick up the very low end of the $29 billion market created by the likes of Apple's iPad and Amazon's Kindle Fire.
