Like its sister car, the Sebring, the Avenger got a once-over-lightly in 2011. But unlike the Sebring, the Avenger name wasn't so devalued that its name needed to be changed. Marchionne has plans for an all-new Fiat-based model, so the current Avenger is mostly a placeholder until something newer and better comes along.
