Although it gets overshadowed by the crossover Outback, the Legacy turned in a solid performance in 2011, with sales up nearly 10% in a year when Japan's earthquake and tsunami squeezed Subaru's inventories. But having been in production since May 2009, the Legacy may look dated next to newer models in this quickly changing segment.
