The competition: Chevrolet Corvette

2013 marks the last year of the sixth-generation Corvette and the first for a redesigned Viper. Corvettes have been winning more recognition as high-value super cars, especially the Z06 and ZR1, but this design has been around since 2006. Viper has a new look. Production of the old Dodge Viper stopped in 2010, and rumors swarmed about its demise, but Chrysler rolled out a 2013 model at the New York Auto Show in April with the new SRT badge. Corvette will have its year in 2014, but Viper will take center stage for the next 12 months.
